Supporting Victims of Japanese Servers

When non-Japanese players in the Japanese servers were banned without satisfactory reasons, I did not know what I could do to help. However now 天然路癡 has requested me to help by sending an English mail, which I could do, and have done. ^_^

I would like to ask is there still any English-speaking overseas players of GVO playing at the moment? If you used to play, could you please check whether you have been banned? Thanks.

My email according to the template provided by 天然路癡:

Hello,

First of all, if you could not understand English well, please ask help from your co-workers or your manager who could understand what I am writing.

Secondly, please don't stop here and "copy & paste" to reply my mail using standard reply template. This kind of customer service could not solve any problem.

As a player in DOL (Daikoukaijidai Online) offshore servers, I heard a shocking news about banning overseas players in the Japanese Server. The official statement stated that your company has banned 337 illegal players. However more than 70 of them are non-RMT players. I have already gotten the name list of these players.

The CEO of KOEI, Mr Kenji Matsubara, who was the former executor of Daikoukaijidai Online, knew that there were lots of oversea players two years ago when DOL was in open beta. Why such action was only taken after two years? Is it because Koei considers to have generated enough revenue from overseas players? Is it because Koei wants to impress the Japanese players when the game is going downhill?

Please state the truth to the players in other servers. There are two known players living in Japan getting banned because they were unlucky to be the members of the chamber of commerce founded by overseas players. They did not even received any satisfactory reply after they have complained.

What is worse is that players are banned right after they have paid their fees. Is this not considered as fraudulence?

Please answer the questions below:
1. Does Koei not care for its customers? Why are the customer service so poor? Have you replied to the enquiries from the players? Why all the mails were replied using standard template response? No complaint will be solved this way.

2. There is no rules disallowing players from abroad trying the game during the Open Beta Testing. This is not even listed in English. If Koei wants to make sure only Japanese players are welcomed, you should state it clearly in not only Japanese. Otherwise banning players under this rule is not reasonable.

3. The rule that Gamecity ID can only be registered for people in Japan is not stated in other languages.

4. The installer can be downloaded by overseas IPs. If Koei really does not want non-Japanese players, you should not allow overseas players to even download the game.

5. The rules that overseas players are forbidden are not stated in other languages other than Japanese when installing the game.

6. Koei does not even reject payment from abroad made through the credit cards held by overseas players. If Koei really wants to limit the game to players living in Japan, please reject offshore payment. This is technically possible. The DOL Taiwan agent, Softstar, has already have this implemented in their system.

7. All the players banned were banned without any warning. They were not told how they could rectify the problem. This is not reasonable.

8. Please answer the enquiries from the players according to your knowledge. If you do not know the details, please ask your supervisor or manager. Don't just "copy and paste" a standard reply.

As a player at the offshore servers, I will tell other players about this. I will support the oversea players who get banned in Japanese Servers without satisfactory reasons. Please handle this issue wisely.

Thank you.

Regards,
Windy

Read More

如果你的信能借我使用,這就是我所要的範本了,不知道您認為是否可接受呢?

可以啊。還以爲是說幫忙寫不同樣式的,所以才問内容的要求有什麽。 ^_^
