Treasure Hunting, Anyone?

with 1 flag signals and 0 trackbacks.

Softstar has arranged some treasure hunting activities. The where, what and how are still unknown. But I'll try to see if I can get any share tonight. Anyone thinking of joining?

Update:
As what Lex has guessed, during the two-hour time, GM gave out a clue. Then the first player that found the GM's ship got the treasure. It is guessed that the treasure is a Treasure Box since GM announced before to get ready some money to buy the treasure. (Shouldn't it be free, huh?)

After the treasure has been claimed, then the GM would gave out the next clue, and so on so forth. The regions ranged from North Europe to India. So it's a test of luck and speed since only one person could get the treasure. Me? Nothing. T^T

Not sure whether the spots would be the same for the next few rounds. But I'll post the clues later today if my connection becomes better.

Update 2:
Here are the clues that I mentioned.

neat. I wish I could participate if I had the time.

By the way, I had forgotten to read the developer's journal for awhile and forgot about that expansion pack. Here's the gist that I wrote up for wikipedia:

"La Frontera" is the name of the upcoming expansion pack for Uncharted Waters Online scheduled for release in the Summer 2006. The expansion will include new areas and a new gameplay. The first chapter for the expansion is titled "Aztec", in which "a new adventure begins" as players "seek out the legend of El Dorado" (link). Apart from new storyline the expansion includes "pirate islands" for irreputable players, "debates" using discovery card battles for adventurers' bragging rights, "joint built shipwrightery" for craftsmen, duels in towns, housing for all players, and ferry service between large cities.

Succeeding chapters will be released later containing even more areas and gameplay.
