GVO Mediocre in Korea?
According to the Korea Times,
CJ Internet hoped "Taehanghae Sidae Online" (Uncharted Waters Online) to be the killer title for its game portal Net Marble. It beat local competitors to win the contract to publish the game, which is the online version of 1990s' Japanese masterpiece "Uncharted Waters." But so far, the results are mediocre. After a successful open-beta service, the company decided to charge 24,200 won per month to the users in November. The pricing policy faced uproar from gamers as most online games are free to play in South Korea.
It is estimated to have only around 20,000 users remaining. On Wednesday, the company announced a revised price policy that lowered the monthly fee to 19,800 won.
20 000 players... Not sure how many servers they have over there. And we shall see how the Taiwan version go soon.
