Starting Work... in Real Life

with 2 flag signals and 0 trackbacks.

I was given a short notice to report to work today (less than 24 hours). So officially I'll be ending my job search and joining the job market. I'll be working at a non-profit organization-funded college. You can guess that the pay won't be that competitive but I kinda like the job scope and I see a lot of room for personal growth.

It would be interesting to see how I'll cope with my job and having fun with GVO, both in playing the game and blogging about it. Transforming my playing behavior from someone with abundant time to someone with limited time would be challenging too.

So someone please drag my body and my mind back to the GMT+8 time zone.

Update:
Exhausted! My new comp arrived today! So after my first day at work, I've been customizing my comp and later install the Taiwan CB installer. I've been staring at the translated benchmark program dreamily and playing around with the settings. The marks are definitely not the same as the Japan's one!

If I lived in California again I might help.

Good luck on your first day of work.

Thanks. :D First day of work, most probably all the documentation and forms stuff, intro, briefings, talking to the boss, etc.
