GVO Korea Goes Full Service
The Korean version of GVO is about to go full service starting 1st December 2005, with a monthly payment of 24,200.00 South Korea Won (USD$23.15). That's so much more expensive than the Japanese version which is only around USD$15.00. Sorry I can't link to the page since the info is provided by someone who knows how to read Korean.
Even though GVO Korea is not the first game that has a more expensive price compared to version in other countries, people are still complaining. It'd be interesting to note what would be the pricing structure for the Taiwan version when the time comes.
Update:
Methods of payment : Credit card, mobile phone, account transfer, telephone banking, ADSL payment (pay through your ISP)
Subscription options:
7days : 7,700 won
30days : 24,200 won

Wow. 5 hours is almost worth as much as 7 days.
I'm not sure how they count the hours, minimum an hour is credited for every log in? But hourly charges for GVO is strange. Most people (for the Japanese version) have been playing minimum two hours per day.
Does anyone know how many paying users there are?
I don't think the figure is released, but here it said around 20,000 users remaining.
