Jumping into Taiwan CB

Finally I can talk about my character plan that I had long decided before the confirmation of the Taiwan CB! I'm going to play an anspiring English tailor.

Luckily after I checked around North Europe, tailors could survive pretty well. Honest, I chose England and tailoring because of some real life encounter! I just wanna try out a fundamental experience and see what the difference would be in real life and GVO.

Merchant Trainee -> Tailor -> x -> Art Dealer, x = any number of occupational change

For my character name, I'm not sure whether the Taiwan version supports alphabets. If not, I would choose a Chinese name that would appear the same in both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese to avoid any discrimination trouble. But then again, I would most probably be using Simplifiend Chinese input, so I'm not so sure whether that'll be of any use. For the same reason that I chose Server 2 for NAO, I'm going to stick to Server 2.

So five more days to go. :)

Merchants are hard to build up fame with. Either you can invest in towns (always a good choice) or run boring trading quests.

None of the combat & exploring excitement of the other two classes.

Otto (one of the English speakers) decided to be very crafty about his character. He started out as an explorer so he got the "autosails" skill. Then he changed to a soldier & finally a merchant with the help of a higher level player. So now he has all three of the special class skills, the combat levels to have a good fighting ship, and beginning to do some crafting.

Have fun with Liza Middleton. :d

I like some skills from Explorer and Soldier too. I'll change class to get them once I've stacked up enough money. :D

i just noticed that if you type in 'uncharted waters online' into Google you come up as the 6th hit. :D Now we just need to beat the stupid sites like IGN & Gamespot that have no content on them.

Wow, didn't notice that. :D Given some more time, maybe we could climb up the Google ladder some more. Or maybe I should stop using "GVO" and write the long "uncharted waters online" instead. :P
