Hinet Offers CB Download
Again, Gamer was first to point out that Hinet has started to offer the CB installer download for the Taiwan version.
To be able to download from Hinet, you need to register for an account. I registered before for the NAO betas but my account list was gone with my laptop. I grew tired of trial and error so I just registered again. Of course if you wait a little bit longer (i.e. until tomorrow or a few days later) Softstar and other Taiwan portals may offer registration-free downloads. I suspect Gamebase will also start to offer a http or a bit torrent download.
As I am writing this, my Hinet download has been cut off due to high traffic. Connecting from outside Taiwan is also kind of slow, with average 20Kb/s. I think I'll have to look for other alternatives or I'll need to repeat the ordeal of 44 hours of download time for the NAO OB. I'll have 19 days to settle the problem. Should be more than enough.
In the next few days, maybe Softstar will also release the retail CB pack to Taiwan and Hong Kong, with the CD installer, a CB account and maybe a booklet. Finally things start to get interesting.
