Gafmax told a story of a member of his guild, Loli, winning a race and later introduced his/her blog early this week. I saw it and followed through but I was a bit hesistant to recommend it at first. It's not that I dislike the blog. Actually I quite enjoyed the posts. It's just that the content is a bit, well, bloody.

What made me changed my mind? Well, sea adventuring is not for the faint of heart. You sure would have developed an immune system by now.

Loli is a gold mine for (you guessed it) Soldering tips. The way Loli added scribbled texts and the contradiction between the blog pinkish tone with its (bloody) content gives Great Voyage Diary a good human voice. If you enjoy a little bit of action, you should add this to your reading list.

And in other news, I'm so bad at internet jargon. :( I feel like an old man knowing only written Japanese, but no online Japanese. At least I know what 'w' means.

I found the first conversation pretty cute, but maybe they use too many smilies. I wish someone would give me an Arabian Galley with a Big Spinnaker. >.

Loli is the nick, I don't know how to type/read the real Japanese (nick)name. (You could see the profile over at Gafmax's story.) I guess the nick has something to do with how she looks.

Well, I don't think I understand the converstation that you understood but yeah, you should've gotten a general idea of how her other posts go.
