No More A Rumor
Finally it is not just a rumor any more! Softstar Entertainment Inc has confirmed their deal with Koei Japan regarding the Traditional Chinese version of GVO. The link to the press release is here and the link to the GVO page is here.
There are only two main points which would concern fans:
a. the closed beta is planned for this coming winter
b. the initial version of the translated version would be previewed at Softstar booth in the Taiwan computer carnival from 23 July 2005 to 31 July 2005
Sigh... It's another long wait but at least we have a date to look forward to. So there is some truth after all in the statement in the trailer "To be released in China, Korea and Taiwan in 2005." I've a strong feeling the closed beta would only start somewhere in December. Well, well, well, just another five more months to go. Hopefully news for the English version would come out next year.
