GVO: Through the Eyes of Nobunaga's Ambition Online 4

I got fed up. Not because of Nobunaga's Ambition Online. But because of the poor internet connection I have. With online games, you very much depend on your connectivity.

I know who to blame, not the servers in Taiwan, but my ISP. I had had frequent disconnection since the day I started on Nobunaga's Ambition Online. But today, the frequency is so high that I've decided to log out from the game. Disconnected every few minutes is simply too much! I feel like vomitting.

Poor connection simply spoils game play. No matter how good the game is, if you are frequently dropped out, you will be grumbling. I had been disconnected in so many fights, quite a few boss fights too. I'm really sorry to my team members.

So I fear the same for GVO. My options would be
a). change to another ISP (not an option for my area)
b). move to another country (yeah, right)
c). move to another city (hmm... maybe yes maybe no, depends on next time when I start a job)

I would like to suggest apart from the computer benchmark test, Koei should also prepare a connection benchmark test for its uers.

There are a couple of internet test sites around. this one is okay. Though most are based in America so speed will be slower anyway. T_T this Yahoo! directory seems to have more asian-oriented links.. Might have a better Bandwidth test.

I did a few tests. The results are quite good, for my package anyway. Usually the surfing and the like is quite ok too. Just that there are frequent hiccups in the process and when the program timeout, I'm out as well. :(
