GVO: Through the Eyes of Nobunaga's Ambition Online 2

This follows my previous post on Uncharted Waters Online and Nobunaga's Ambition Online. Today I'll talk about installation problems. Again, I'll only focus on the downloaded version since I have no experience on the other one.

So far I haven't install the GVO Japanese trial, but I can see from the downloaded files that I only need to execute the setup.exe. I'm not sure of the Japanese version of the Nobunaga's Ambition Online, but the Taiwan version is one whole exe file.

Normally when we see an exe file, we would assume that double clicking it would do the trick. But not this time. It returned an error. I only realized that I need to extract it first using Winrar through postings on forums. For those who did not find out about the extracting part, they would definitely assume the downloaded version is corrupted.

I'm not against this kind of distribution format, but the official site should at least prepare a FAQ on steps to do to install the program. If it's there, then I'm sorry to say I did not notice it. It would need a better position.

And I haven't start to talk about game play yet. The success of a game definitely depends on more than just the game play!
